Logan earned a very important win Thursday night on the road against Ben Lomond.After trailing by one heading into the second quarter, the Grizzlies (9-12, 6-4) ran away with it, outscoring the Scots (1-20, 0-10), 48-14, the remainder of the game.With a Ridgeline loss, the win helped secure Logan with the third seed via tiebreaker.
Tori Craner and Shaylee Anderson both had 10 points for the Grizzlies. Craner also had eight rebounds and three blocks.

Logan Grizzlies Varsity Defeat Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT)
Shay Anderson scored 10 points to lead Logan to a 57-24 victory over Ben Lomond on Thursday. Logan Grizzlies Varsity grabbed the lead against Ben Lomond (Ogden, UT) on a two-pointer from Tori Craner in the second period and held on.
Claiming a 17-12 lead at the half, Logan pulled ahead early in the game. Logan solidified their lead in the third quarter, scoring 21 points.
Anderson led the charge for Logan’s offense, scoring 10 points, with three points during the fourth period. She also contributed four rebounds and one steal.
Craner made it into double digits, scoring 10 points for Logan (3-for-10). Mia Marin (9 points) and Liz Timmerman (8 points) each contributed multiple three-pointers. Also contributing for Logan were Aleya Zentner (7 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals), Jenny King (4 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal), and Olivia Sanders (2 points, 2 rebounds).
Logan finished the game with 49 rebounds (19 offensive / 30 defensive), seven blocks and 13 steals.
