Logan High School
Ben Lomond High School
Grizzlies 63, Scots 50
Logan picked up a solid road victory in region play over Ben Lomond. The Grizzlies (9-9, 2-3) pulled away from Ben Lomond (6-10, 0-4) in the second half to break a three-game losing streak.
“We had really balanced scoring and we did a great job of getting stops on the defensive end,” Logan head coach Logan Brown said. “It feels good to get back on track. Our kids did a really good job of playing together. That’s what you have to do to get region wins on the road.”
Four different Grizzlies reached double digits in scoring. Jared Bagley led the way with 22 points, and Cody Brimhall had 15. Anthony McDade and Josh Jensen rounded things out with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
“I thought that our assertiveness on defense is what led to us having efficient play on offense,” Brown said. “We did a good job of getting stops and rebounding the basketball, and that led to us scoring points.â
