Redmen 56, Grizzlies 33

No. 3 Logan fell to No. 2 Cedar Saturday night on the road.

Cedar jumped out to a 28-11 lead after keeping Logan (9-13) scoreless in the first quarter.

The Grizzlies outscored the Redmen in the third quarter, but the home team responded with a 20-8 fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Mia Marin led Logan with a game-high 14 points. Liz Timmerman added 12 points.

Carly Davis led Cedar with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Cedar will face Richfield Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Spectrum.

In a great showing, Mia Marin scored 14 points, but this was not enough as Logan fell to Cedar City 56-33.
Marin led the charge for Logan Grizzlies Varsity’s offense, scoring 14 points, with six points during the third period. She also contributed two rebounds and one steal.
Liz Timmerman tapped out at double digits, scoring 12 points for Logan (5-for-12). Also contributing for Logan were Tori Craner (4 points, 8 rebounds) and Shay Anderson (2 points, 1 rebound). Timmerman was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up four rebounds and four steals.
Logan finished the game with 21 rebounds (8 offensive / 13 defensive) and seven steals.
